Description
The Galaxy A7 (A710 / 2016) screen adhesive is used to fix the front screen to the device chassis. It is a double-sided strip that holds the glass in place and protects the interior from dust and moisture. When it is worn or has come loose, the screen may move, lift at the edges or let in moisture. Replacing it restores a clean and stable fixation.
Before fitting, work on a flat, clean surface in a temperate room. Gently warm the edges of the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting, then carefully remove the screen. Clean any adhesive residue thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol, leaving no traces. Disconnect the battery before handling any flex cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge.
After fitting, check the screen alignment, then test the touch function and display before closing the device fully. Press the edges gently to ensure good adhesion, then let the glue set for the recommended time. Once the device is reassembled, keep an eye on it for a few days to detect any possible loosening.
