Personal dataPrivacy policy
This page explains how customer data is used to run the shop.
Data controller
The data controller is Dawson Jesus EI (entrepreneur individuel), trade name DR Phone, SIRET 84007911500035, 4T rue Guillaume du Fay, 59400 Cambrai, who can be contacted at contact@drphone.fr.
Data collected
The shop collects the information needed for the customer account, the order and the invoice: email address, first name, last name, telephone, full address, order history, items purchased, payment status and payment references.
Purposes
The data is used to create the customer account, process orders, collect payments, issue invoices, manage customer service, prevent fraud and comply with accounting and legal obligations.
Service providers
The data may be passed on to the service providers needed to run the service, in particular Supabase for the customer account and the order database, Alma for payment in instalments, Stripe for card payments made up to 6 October 2026, Netlify for hosting and the email provider configured for confirmations.
Distance to pick-up points
To show the distance between your delivery address and each pick-up point, the delivery address (street, postal code, city and country, without any name or contact details) is sent when you choose delivery to the Base Adresse Nationale (French State, Géoplateforme IGN, data.geopf.fr) for France, or to OpenStreetMap Nominatim (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection) for other countries. It is used only to calculate this distance and is not kept by DR Phone beyond a temporary cache of 24 hours at most.
Retention period
Account data is kept for as long as the account remains active. Orders and invoices are kept for the periods needed for commercial follow-up, after-sales service and accounting obligations. Proof of consent to the unfinished-order reminder (wording, version, language and date) is kept for as long as that consent remains valid, then for the applicable legal limitation period.
Customer's rights
The customer may request access to, rectification or erasure of their data where the law allows. To exercise these rights, they can write to contact@drphone.fr.
Audience measurement and advertising
Google storage related to audience measurement, advertising, advertising data and personalisation is refused by default. It can only be enabled after your choice in the cookie management tool. Technical events exclude email, telephone, address, identity, IMEI and documents. Enhanced conversions remain disabled until an additional validation has been carried out.
Campaign attribution
When this feature is enabled with your consent, campaign parameters may be kept in pseudonymised form for a maximum of 90 days. They do not change the price, the stock or the access rights to the website.
Origin of orders
To find out which channels (Google, social networks, emails, posters…) bring in orders, the “visit source” cookie described on the Cookies page remembers for 30 days where your visit came from, without any advertising click identifier, IP address or device identifier. When you place an order, this origin (type of source, campaign, referring website without the page address, landing page and dates) is recorded with the order. It is used solely to produce internal sales statistics by source and is never passed on to third parties. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our sales channels (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is kept for as long as the order.
Purchase journey (anonymous statistics)
To find out at which step visitors stop (product page, basket, order page, payment), the site counts daily totals: the step reached and the type of source of the visit (read from the “visit source” cookie, without changing it). No cookie is set for this and nothing makes it possible to recognise you: no identifier, IP address, device, order or product viewed is recorded. These totals are used only for our internal statistics and are not passed on to any third parties. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the purchase journey (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Google Customer Reviews
After a paid order, the confirmation page may show a Google window inviting you to rate your purchase (Google Customer Reviews programme). This window is only loaded if you have accepted advertising cookies, or if you click the “Review us on Google” button on that page yourself (legal basis: your consent or your request). Otherwise, no data is sent to Google. It receives the order number, your e-mail address, the delivery country and the estimated delivery date. Google only sends you a satisfaction survey after delivery if you agree to take part in that window; you can decline or close it with no effect on your order. Your review is then processed by Google under its privacy policy.
Order follow-up e-mails
Information about an unfinished order. If the payment for an order placed from your account fails, expires or is cancelled, we may send you a single information e-mail about 30 minutes later: the order number and contents, confirmation that no amount has been charged and a link to resume it (valid for 7 days). This message contains no commercial offer. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data used: e-mail address, first name, order number and contents, language. You can refuse these messages at any time using the link in every e-mail.
Order reminders and offers by e-mail. If you tick the box “🔔 Notify me by email if I do not finish my order”, we send you a single reminder a few hours later if the order has not been completed (legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article L34-5 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code; we keep the wording of the box, its version and the date of your consent). If you have already bought from us, we may also, without any box being ticked, send you offers by e-mail for products similar to those you bought (phones, tablets, watches and their accessories): this same reminder for an unfinished order, accessories compatible with the device purchased (about 10 days after delivery), a thank-you code after a first order and an offer of a trade-in valuation one year after the purchase of a phone (legal basis: Article L34-5, paragraph 2, of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code and our legitimate interest in building customer loyalty, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We send at most 2 commercial e-mails per 14-day period. You can object free of charge when ordering (box “I do not want to receive any offers or reminders from DR Phone by email”), at any time using the unsubscribe link in every e-mail, or by unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data used: e-mail address, first name, order history, language. They are kept for 3 years from your last purchase or contact; your refusals are kept so that they are respected. The e-mails are sent by our e-mail delivery provider (Resend).
Review request. About 5 days after delivery or in-store collection, we may send you a single e-mail inviting you to leave a review on the Google listing of the shop concerned (Cambrai or Mons). The request is made to all customers, with nothing in return, whether their experience was good or not. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in monitoring the quality of our service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can refuse these requests using the link in every e-mail. The review itself is published on Google, under Google’s rules and privacy policy.
Security
Payments are processed by our payment service providers (Alma, and Stripe for orders placed up to 6 October 2026). DR Phone does not store full bank card numbers. Administrator access must remain restricted to authorised persons.
