Description
This battery adhesive for iPhone 7 Plus is used to fix the battery to the device chassis. Once the battery has been removed and put back in place, it keeps the unit firmly in contact with the board and limits any play that could disturb the connection or make the battery move inside the casing. It is useful when the current strip is worn, peeled off or was torn during a previous disassembly.
This is a compatible part made by a third party. It may therefore show slight differences in fit compared with the current part. Before you start, switch off the device, unplug it from the mains and remove the battery following the procedure for the model. Clean the surfaces carefully with a dry cloth to remove adhesive residue. Avoid metal tools near the battery and never puncture or bend it.
After fitting, check that the battery is stable and that no ribbon cable rubs against it. When you power the device back on, watch it for a few minutes. If the battery becomes unusually hot or appears swollen, stop immediately and stop using the battery.
