Camera adhesive for Galaxy S9 – Compatible

Description

This camera adhesive Galaxy S9 is used to secure the camera module inside the chassis. It holds the camera in place and isolates it from vibrations, which limits stray movements and dodgy contacts. It is generally used when the current adhesive is worn, has come loose or was removed during disassembly, for example after replacing a screen.

This part is compatible, made by a third party. It does not bear the device manufacturer's brand, and its quality may differ from that of the current part. Before fitting, clean the area thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol, then let it dry completely. Work on a clean surface at room temperature, using a plastic tool to avoid scratching or bending the ribbon cables.

For a safe fitting, disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cables and avoid static electricity. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen. After fitting, check that the camera is firmly secured, the image is sharp and no abnormal noise or vibration appears.

Tips

• Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry
• Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
• Avoid static electricity during fitting
• Do not force or bend the camera ribbon cable
• Check image sharpness after reassembly
