LCD Adhesive for Pixel 7 – Compatible

Description

The LCD adhesive Pixel 7 is a double-sided tape used to fix the screen to the device's casing. It ensures the mechanical hold of the glass and panel, and helps seal the screen against dust and moisture. Without an adhesive in good condition, the screen may lift, shift or let moisture in. This part is useful during a screen repair, for example after an impact or when the old adhesive no longer holds.

This is a compatible part, made by a third party: it is not original. Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and carefully remove the old adhesive without scraping the chassis. Clean the surfaces with a lint-free cloth and no trace of grease. Avoid touching the sticky side with your fingers.

After fitting, check that the screen lies flat and that all edges adhere. Reconnect the battery only once fitting is complete, then check the touch and display. Keep the device at a moderate temperature and avoid knocks while the adhesive dries. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.

Tips

• Disconnect the battery before any work on the ribbon cable or screen
• Clean the surfaces free of grease before applying the adhesive
• Avoid touching the sticky side with your fingers
• Check the display and touch before closing the device
• A swollen battery must no longer be used
