Description
This 5G antenna sub PBA is a small module that receives and transmits the 5G signals of the Pixel 4a 5G. It is part of the auxiliary antenna circuit board and provides the radio link with the mobile network. When it fails, you often notice a loss of 5G coverage, a connection that drops regularly or a poorer reception quality, while the SIM card and settings remain correct.
This part is a compatible version made by a third party. It takes over the function of the original component without being the manufacturer's part. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if necessary and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. Handle the connectors with care, without forcing them, and never bend the ribbon cables.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the 5G reception in a well-covered place. If the battery was disconnected, a few full charge cycles allow the system to stabilise. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture it.
