Description
This upper antenna is a compatible spare part for the iPhone Air. It sits in the upper section of the device and handles radio reception, notably for mobile network, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth depending on its position. When it is faulty, you may notice network loss, an unstable connection or difficulty picking up Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, clear, well-lit surface, with a suitable opening tool and an anti-static tweezer. Note the order in which screws and connectors are removed to make reassembly easier. Handle the part by its edges, without pressing on the contacts.
Once the part is fitted and the device closed, switch it back on and check mobile network reception, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If the battery was disconnected, recharge it gradually, avoiding excessive heat sources. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it, and stop using any device whose battery is swollen.
