Description
This antenna is an original spare part for the K8 (2017). It forms part of the device's wireless signal reception system, handling mobile network, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth reception depending on the model. When it is faulty or damaged, the device may lose signal, pick up the network poorly or show an unstable connection. The manufacturer's original part, or the official Service Pack reference, delivers performance and battery life identical to new.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface with a suitable tool, and note the exact position of each connector. Handle the ribbon cable and wires with care, without bending or forcing them, and protect your components from static electricity. Avoid excessive heat during removal.
Once reassembly is complete, check that the device starts correctly and that the signal is restored. Test reception in an open area before closing the casing for good. If the battery was disconnected, run a few full charge cycles to stabilise its operation.
