Description
This antenna is an original spare part for the OnePlus 8. It handles the reception and transmission of the device's radio signals: mobile network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPS, depending on its position in the phone. When it is faulty, you often notice loss of network, an unstable connection, weak reception or mobile data that drops for no apparent reason. It is an official manufacturer part, or a "Service Pack" part: its performance and operation are identical to those of a new one.
Before any work, switch the OnePlus 8 off completely and disconnect the battery where possible. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a tool suited to opening the casing without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Handle the ribbon cable and connectors gently, without bending or pulling them.
After fitting, replace the cover and switch the device back on. Check mobile network reception, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in several locations. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge fully, then carry out a few complete charge cycles to restore stable operation. A swollen battery must never be used.
