Description
This waterproof Razr 40, Razr (XT2323 / 2023) sticker is an adhesive piece used to fix and seal certain components inside the device. It holds a component in place and limits the entry of dust and moisture around the area concerned. When it peels off or deteriorates, the device may become less water-resistant or some parts may move, which can cause everyday inconvenience.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Prepare a clean, well-lit workspace and a plastic tool for lifting without scratching. Avoid excessive heat so as not to damage the components, and protect your hands and the device from static electricity. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the seal adheres well over its entire surface, without bubbles or creases, and that the neighbouring elements are correctly refitted. Power the device back on and check its operation before closing it fully. If anything seems abnormal, stop and repeat the check before going further.

- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Remove the old adhesive without bending or tearing it forcefully
- Check that the bonding surface is clean and dry
- Make sure the new sticker is well aligned before pressing it down
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
