Description
This compatible battery is designed for the A18 (2023) model. It replaces the battery of a device whose battery life has declined or that no longer holds its charge. Fitted in place of the current part, it lets you get normal use of your device back without changing model.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any power source. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by not handling the components with dry hands.
The battery is a lithium cell: do not puncture it, bend it or expose it to high heat. If the current battery or the new one is swollen, do not use it. After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the device can properly calibrate its battery-life indicator, then check that charging works correctly.
