Description
This compatible battery is designed for the A40 (2024) model. It replaces the current battery in your device when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches off unexpectedly. A worn-out battery is one of the most common faults on a smartphone: replacing it often restores a decent battery life without having to change your device.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a small suitable screwdriver and, if possible, a suction cup to lift the screen. Discharge any static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery, and do not heat it.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check that it charges normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator stabilises. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it immediately.
