Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn-out battery of your Samsung Galaxy A5 (model A520, 2017). It supplies the power your phone needs to operate and connects to the motherboard to power the device. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats, replacing it can restore a proper battery life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver along with a flat tool to release the clips. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and proceed calmly. Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, bend it or expose it to excessive heat. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to remove it without taking precautions. Also remember to discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the new battery is fitted and the device reassembled, check that the phone starts properly and that the charge indicator appears. Then carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery adapts to the device. Monitor the temperature during the first charges.
