Description
This compatible battery is designed for the A60 (2024) model. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds a charge, drains too quickly or no longer allows the device to be used properly. A worn battery can cause sudden shutdowns, very short battery life or a swollen casing.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, clear surface with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
Once fitting is complete, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to balance. Check that the device starts, that the charge level displays correctly and that it does not overheat. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
