Description

Before replacing it, switch the smartphone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface at room temperature, and use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, bend it or short-circuit it. A swollen battery or one giving off a smell must never be used.
Once the new battery is fitted and the phone is closed again, turn the device back on and check that charging works properly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. Keep an eye on the temperature during the first charges.
