Description
This compatible battery is designed for the A76 (2022) model. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or switches off unexpectedly. A worn battery can also cause the casing to swell or unexpected restarts, two signs that should prompt you to act.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the power cable. Work on a clean, dry surface, with non-metallic tools if possible, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Always disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and do not expose it to excessive heat.
Once the part is installed, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can calibrate properly. Then check the battery life, the temperature during charging and the correct operation of the main functions. If the battery swells or overheats abnormally, stop using it immediately.
