Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Samsung Galaxy A8, model A810, released in 2016. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or causes unexpected shutdowns of the device. A worn battery can also make the phone heat up or swell, which is a good reason to replace it without delay.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely, remove the case and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to lift the battery without forcing it. Work on a clean surface at room temperature and avoid any heat source. Also discharge static electricity by touching a metal object before handling the components.
Once the battery is installed, switch the device back on and let it go through a few full charge and discharge cycles so the level indicator stabilises. Monitor the temperature while charging and check that the screen and connectors work properly. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used.
