Description

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver, a suction cup and a tray to store the screws. Work on a clean, clear surface with good lighting. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Always disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Never puncture, bend or apply pressure to the battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
Once assembly is finished, switch the device back on and check that the screen, buttons and charging work correctly. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery settle properly. While charging, watch the heat: it should remain moderate. If the battery becomes unusually hot, unplug the charger and stop using the device.
