This is a part made by a third party, designed to fit this model. Before dismantling, switch the device off completely, remove the case and work on a clean surface. Use a plastic tool to open the screen carefully and disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
Once assembly is finished, check that the connectors are properly clipped in and that the device starts normally. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery balances. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a swollen battery: set it aside in a safe place.
