Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of an A98 (2023) device. It powers the device when it is not plugged into the mains and lets you use it independently in everyday life. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly, replacing it can restore a proper battery life.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a clean, clear workspace. Work on a non-conductive surface and touch an earthed metal part before handling components, to reduce the risk of static electricity. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and avoid excessive heat. If a battery is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, power on the device and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the new battery stabilise. Then check the displayed level and the battery life during normal use.
