Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Huawei Ascend G700 smartphone. It replaces the current part when it no longer holds charge, shuts off suddenly or swells slightly. A worn battery often causes unexpected restarts, very short battery life or a phone that overheats while charging.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charging cable. Work on a clean, clear surface, with a small suitable screwdriver and a plastic spudger to open the casing without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Important precautions: a lithium battery must never be punctured or bent. If the current or the new battery is swollen, do not use it and handle it with care. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery level indicator recalibrates correctly.
Tips
- Switch the device off and unplug the charger before any work
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
- Do not use a swollen battery; set it aside safely
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
