Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the worn battery of the Avid Plus (2016). It powers the device when it is not plugged in and gives you enough battery life for everyday use. If your device shuts down suddenly, drains very quickly or gets hot while charging, the battery is often the cause.
Before fitting, switch off the device completely and unplug its charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable screwdriver. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface first. Remove the current part carefully, without puncturing or bending it.
After fitting, connect the device and run a few complete charge and discharge cycles so that the battery stabilises. Watch the temperature: slight warmth is normal, strong heat is not. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
