Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Blackview BV5100 when it no longer holds its charge or drains too quickly. It powers the phone and must be installed in place of the current part. This is a compatible part, made by a third party, and not a part sold by the manufacturer.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface, use a plastic tool to open the casing, and wear an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
Once the new battery is installed, switch the phone back on and carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the level indicator recalibrates. Monitor the temperature while charging; it should remain moderate. If the battery swells, heats up abnormally or the phone does not start properly, stop immediately and do not use it any more.

- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Swollen battery: stop using it and set it aside
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after fitting
