Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a BlackBerry Bold 9900. It powers the phone and keeps it running through the day. When the current part no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats, replacing it lets you get back to normal use of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work on a clean, clear surface. Use a plastic tool to open the casing and disconnect the battery before removing the current part. Avoid knocks and protect the components from static electricity by touching an earthed metal object before handling the parts.
Once the battery is fitted, switch the device back on and check that the charge indicator displays correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and never use a swollen battery: it must then be set aside in a safe place.
