Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery of your CAT S61 when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer charges properly. It powers the phone continuously and keeps it running through the day, whether in normal use or on the move.
Before fitting, switch the smartphone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface with a small suitable screwdriver and a plastic spudger to avoid scratching the chassis. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by touching an earthed metal surface first. Do not puncture, bend or crush the battery: a lithium battery that is swollen, hot or deformed must no longer be used.
After replacement, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the new battery balance. Then check that the housing is properly sealed and that the device starts and charges normally.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and unplug the charger before any work
- Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery
- Swollen or hot battery: stop using it and set it aside
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Complete 2 or 3 full charge cycles after fitting
