Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery in your CAT S75. It powers the phone when you are not plugged into the mains, so it governs how long the phone lasts day to day. A worn battery often shows up as a phone that shuts off suddenly, gets hot while charging or whose displayed percentage drops too fast. Replacing this part usually restores a more comfortable battery life without changing your device.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and remove the case or cover depending on the model. Work on a clean, clear surface with suitable tools so you do not damage the connectors or ribbon cables. Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before you work.
Handle the battery with care: do not puncture it, bend it or short-circuit it. If it is swollen, deformed or hot, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place. After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles and monitor the temperature during the first charges.
