Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery in your Droid Mini (XT1030, 2013 model). It powers the device and keeps it running through daily use. If your phone no longer holds a charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats during use, replacing the battery is often the simplest solution.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small screwdriver suitable for the screws and a flat tool to release the components without forcing them. Work on a clean, dry surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Remove the battery carefully, without puncturing, bending or exposing it to significant heat.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that the battery is recognised correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. If the battery swells or shows any deformation, stop using it.
Tips
- Switch the phone off before any disassembly
- Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Battery swollen or deformed: stop using it
- Carry out a few full charge cycles after installation
- Avoid static electricity and strong heat
