Description

Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace. Use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it, and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and handle it with care: never puncture it, never bend it and do not try to charge it if it is swollen. A swollen battery must no longer be used.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check that charging takes place normally. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. Monitor the temperature during the first charges: moderate warmth is normal, excessive heat is not.
