Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a G2 phone. It powers the device and lets you use it wirelessly. As the battery ages, battery life drops, the device may shut off suddenly or charge poorly. Replacing the battery fixes these faults and restores more comfortable battery life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and take the time to prepare a clean, well-lit workspace free of static electricity. Use suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
Once the new battery is fitted, check that everything works: power-on, charging, screen and network. For a new battery, it is advisable to carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to optimise its performance. If the battery swells or overheats significantly, stop using it immediately.
