Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Samsung Galaxy Alpha smartphone. It powers the device when it is not plugged in and keeps it running on the move every day. It is recommended when the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly while battery life still shows, overheats abnormally or no longer charges properly.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the back cover and disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with a plastic tool to avoid scratches, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never pierce, bend or crush a lithium battery. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it.
After fitting, connect the phone to a charger and let it charge fully, then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery can stabilise. Keep an eye on the temperature during the first charges: it should remain moderate.
