Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. It powers the phone and determines how long it runs between charges. As the battery ages, the phone may switch off suddenly, stop holding a charge or overheat during use. Replacing the battery often restores a decent battery life without having to change your phone.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a small screwdriver that fits and a flat tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a clean, dry surface and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface. Remove the battery carefully, without puncturing, bending or flexing it. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and check that the battery is recognised and that the casing is properly closed. Carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can stabilise. Watch the temperature during the first charges: slight warmth is normal, strong heat is not.
