Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of your Samsung Galaxy Note 1. It powers the device and determines how long it lasts between two charges. When the battery ages, the phone may switch off suddenly, get hot while charging, drain very quickly or refuse to start. Replacing the battery is often the simplest way to regain decent battery life without changing your device.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with a plastic opening tool and a suitable screwdriver. Discharge the current part as much as possible and handle it with care: a lithium battery must never be punctured, bent or exposed to significant heat. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to remove it by force.
Once the replacement is done, reconnect the device and carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery balances. Then check the charge, the temperature and the battery life. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the internal components.
