Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It powers the phone and lets it run without being plugged into the mains. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, heats up abnormally, or the phone switches off suddenly while energy is still displayed, a replacement restores a decent battery life.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, dry surface, with a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables.
Once the part is installed, close the casing, then carry out two or three full charge and discharge cycles so the battery calibrates. Monitor the temperature during the first charges. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent, and a swollen battery must no longer be used.
