Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Samsung Galaxy S5. It powers the phone and keeps it running through everyday use. When a battery ages, the phone may shut off suddenly, overheat or no longer hold a charge: replacing this part usually fixes these faults.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the back cover. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool and, if possible, without static electricity on your hands. Disconnect the battery before handling the nearby ribbon cables, and avoid excessive heat during fitting.
After installation, run a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery balances properly. Then check the displayed level and the temperature of the phone during normal use. Do not pierce or bend the battery, and stop using a swollen battery.
