Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. It powers the phone and restores enough battery life when the current battery no longer holds its charge. It is made by a third party and is not a Samsung part.
The faults it mainly resolves include battery life that drops quickly, a phone that switches off without warning while still showing charge, or a battery that overheats during use. Before fitting, switch the device off completely, prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a tool to open the casing without forcing it. Work on a clean, dry surface and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface first.
Once the battery is fitted, switch the phone back on and carry out two or three full charge and discharge cycles so that the indicator becomes reliable again. Then check the temperature while charging and how well the battery holds up over the following days.
Tips
- Switch off the device and unplug the charger before any work.
- Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery.
- If the battery is swollen or deformed, stop using it.
- Disconnect the battery before handling the internal ribbon cables.
- Carry out two or three full charge cycles after fitting.
