Description
This compatible battery is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. It replaces the current battery when it no longer holds its charge, drains too quickly or no longer lets you use the phone reliably. A worn battery can also cause sudden shutdowns or abnormal overheating.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean workspace with suitable tools and good lighting. Work on a non-conductive surface and touch a metal earth before handling the components to avoid electrostatic discharge. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
The battery is a lithium cell: do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid excessive heat. If it is swollen, deformed or hot, do not use it and set it aside in a safe place. After fitting, carry out a few full charge cycles so the battery balances, then check the charge level and the stability of the device.
