Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. It powers the phone and keeps it running throughout the day. When the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or overheats abnormally, replacing the battery is usually the most effective solution.
Before you begin, switch the smartphone off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with small suitable tools. Work without forcing anything and without bending the battery, as it is a lithium battery. Never puncture it. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care. Protect yourself from static electricity and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
After fitting, carry out several complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery can balance properly. Monitor the temperature while charging: moderate warmth is normal, excessive heat is not. Then check the charge level and the phone's behaviour over the following days.
