Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery of your GT5 Pro when it no longer holds a charge or shuts down suddenly. It powers the device and keeps it running through the day. A worn battery often shows up as rapid draining, a charge that stops too early, or a device that heats up abnormally.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean surface in a temperate room, and earth yourself or touch a metal object to avoid electrostatic discharge. Open the device with suitable tools, without forcing it, and disconnect the current battery before touching the ribbon cables.
Once the battery is installed, switch the device back on and run a few full charge and discharge cycles so the system can recalibrate its battery estimate. Check that the device does not overheat while charging. Never puncture the battery, bend it or try to repair it. If it is swollen, stop using it.
