Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your HMD Nokia 4.2. It powers the phone and restores enough battery life for everyday use when the old battery no longer holds its charge. It is a part made by a third party, offered as an economical alternative to repair your device yourself.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and remove the back cover. Work on a clean, clear surface and use a plastic tool to disconnect the battery connector without forcing it. Mind electrostatic discharge: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
The battery is a lithium cell: do not puncture it, bend it or expose it to excessive heat. If the new battery appears swollen or deformed, stop using it immediately. After reassembly, carry out a few full charge cycles so that the level indicator recalibrates correctly.
