Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery of your HMD Nokia 8 when it no longer holds its charge or switches off suddenly. It sits inside the phone and powers the device in everyday use. Made by a third party, it is designed to fit the model without any particular modification.
Before replacing it, switch the device off completely and disconnect it from any charging source. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, with suitable tools to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the current battery before handling the ribbon cables, then connect the new one carefully.
After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so the battery can balance. Check that the device starts up properly and that it charges without excessive heating. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it, and never use a swollen or damaged battery.
