Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Honor 5C (2016). It powers the phone and lets you use it without staying permanently plugged into the mains. A battery that drains quickly, heats up abnormally or no longer gives the expected battery life is usually the cause of this type of fault. Replacing the current part restores more comfortable everyday use.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the protective case. Work on a clean, clear surface, with a flat spudger and a suction cup if needed. Do not puncture, bend or force the battery. If the worn battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it carefully. Also discharge static electricity before touching the components.
After fitting, check that the battery is firmly secured and that the connectors are properly clicked into place. Run a first full charge, then carry out a few charge and discharge cycles so the battery stabilises. Monitor the phone's temperature while charging: it should stay moderate.
