Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of a Honor 5X released in 2015. It powers the phone when the current part no longer holds its charge, shuts off suddenly or swells slightly. Its role is therefore to restore a correct battery life and stable operation of the device.
Before replacing it, switch the smartphone off completely and carefully remove the back cover using a plastic tool so as not to damage the chassis. Disconnect the current battery before handling the neighbouring ribbon cables, and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. Check that the connectors are clean and properly seated before closing up.
Once reassembled, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to let the battery stabilise. Monitor the temperature while charging and avoid any excessive heat. Never puncture the battery, do not bend it, and do not use a swollen battery.
