Description
This compatible battery replaces the internal battery of your Honor 8 (2016). It powers the phone and lets it run without a cable. When the battery ages, the phone loses its charge quickly, switches off without warning or overheats while charging. Replacing the battery fixes these faults and gives the device a more comfortable battery life.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable screwdriver and a suction cup or flat tool to carefully separate the screen from the chassis. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and use an anti-static wristband if you have one. Do not puncture the battery, do not bend it and never force the connectors.
Once the part is fitted, switch the phone back on and check that the charge level displays correctly. For a new battery, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the indicator regains a reliable reading. If the battery swells or heats up abnormally, stop using it immediately.
