Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery of your Idol 4. It powers the phone and keeps it running through the day. If your device drains too quickly, switches off without warning or gets unusually hot, the battery is often the cause. This is a part made by a third party, offered as compatible with the Idol 4 model.
Before fitting, switch the phone off completely and prepare a clean, clear workspace that is protected from static electricity. Use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and check that each connector is properly seated before closing up.
After replacement, switch the phone back on and check that charging works properly. For a new battery, carry out several full charge and discharge cycles to stabilise the battery level indicator. Do not puncture, bend or expose the battery to high heat. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
