Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of your Idol 4s. It powers the phone and gives you enough battery life for everyday use. When the current part no longer holds charge, shuts down suddenly or swells, replacing it is the most common way to keep using the device without changing it.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and prepare a suitable small screwdriver as well as a suction cup or a plastic opening tool. Work on a clean surface, in a well-lit place and at room temperature. Avoid any contact with metal parts that could cause an electrostatic discharge, and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
Once the part is fitted, carry out several full charging cycles before judging the battery life. Check that the phone starts normally and that charging takes place without abnormal overheating. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a swollen battery: set it aside and handle it with care.
