Description
This compatible battery replaces the worn battery in your Idol One Touch X. It powers the device and keeps it running between two charges. As a battery ages, the phone switches off without warning, lasts less and less time or heats up while charging. Replacing the battery usually fixes these faults.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools. Avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables and never force the connectors.
Once the battery is fitted, switch the device on and check that it starts, charges normally and that battery life is correct. Let the device complete a few full charge cycles so the battery stabilises. Never puncture, bend or crush a lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
