Description
This compatible battery replaces the current battery in your iPad Mini 3 (2014). It powers the tablet and keeps its battery life going through everyday use. When the battery ages, the device drains quickly, shuts off without warning or refuses to start: this replacement fixes these faults.
Before you begin, switch the tablet off completely and unplug the charger. Work on a clean, well-lit surface with a small set of suitable screwdrivers. Use a plastic tool to lift the components so you do not damage the ribbon cable or the connectors. Protect yourself from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the parts.
Once the battery is fitted, plug the charger back in and let the device charge fully. Then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles so the battery balances. If the battery becomes unusually hot or swells, stop using it immediately.

- Switch off the tablet and unplug the charger before any work
- Never puncture, bend or crush the lithium battery
- Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables
- Carry out several full charge cycles after fitting
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
