Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of an iPhone 11 Pro Max referenced A2218, A2161 or A2220. It powers the device and determines how long it lasts between two charges. A worn battery often shows up as battery life that drops quickly, a sudden shutdown while charge remains, or a phone that overheats while charging.
Before you start, switch the iPhone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver, suction cups and a clean work mat. Work on a flat surface, in a well-ventilated place and at a moderate temperature. If possible, discharge the current part slightly, and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity.
After fitting, connect the device and let it complete several full charge cycles so the battery indicator recalibrates. Then check charging, temperature and the correct operation of the screen and sensors. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent; if it is swollen, stop using it.
