Description
This compatible battery is designed to replace the battery of an iPhone 5C. It powers the device when it is not plugged in and allows you to use it independently. It suits phones whose battery is worn and no longer holds a charge, or which switch off suddenly while energy is still displayed.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and prepare a small suitable screwdriver and a suction cup. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and proceed calmly. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid electrostatic discharge by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture or bend the battery. If the current part is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
After fitting, connect the phone and let it charge to full. Then carry out a few complete charge and discharge cycles to allow the battery to adapt. Monitor the temperature of the device during these first uses: moderate warmth is normal, excessive heat is not.
