Description
This compatible battery replaces the battery of the iPhone 6 Plus. It powers the phone and restores enough battery life when the current battery no longer holds its charge, shuts down suddenly or drains too quickly.
Replacing the battery is one of the most common repairs on this model. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, and prepare a suitable small screwdriver and a tray to keep the screws sorted. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal ground to avoid electrostatic discharge. Disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables.
The battery contains lithium: do not puncture it, bend it or heat it. If it is swollen, do not try to fit it and do not use it. After fitting, carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles so that the battery indicator recalibrates, then check the screen, charging and connectors.
